WILDCOAST conserves coastal and marine ecosystems and wildlife, large and small. From protecting sea turtle hatchlings in Oaxaca, to conserving miles of threatened coastline that are home to gray whale birthing lagoons.

In 2013 WILDCOAST:

  • Conserved 4,000 acres and two miles of Baja’s pristine central Valle de los Cirios Pacific coastline for a total of 30,134 acres and 33.2 miles protected on this wild coastline;
  • Helped to preserve over 1,125 acres of coral reefs in Mexico;
  • Carried out stewardship efforts to conserve 27.4 square miles of Marine Protected areas in Southern California that are home to bottlenose dolphins, leopard sharks, black sea bass, kelp forests and rocky reefs; and
  • Mobilized over 4,000 volunteers to pick-up more than 54,000 pounds of ocean bound trash.

We need your help to conserve these gorgeous places and keep them WILD! Your generous gift to wildlife and wild places will allow sea turtles to return to their nesting beaches, preserve gray whale birthing lagoons, and help us conserve ocean wonders for years to come.
