From April 9-11, WILDCOAST Executive Director Serge Dedina will travel to Baja California Sur to present his new book Surfing the Border: Adventures at the Edge of the Ocean.

Serge will discuss his book and efforts to preserve the beauty of Baja California in Todos Santos, San Jose del Cabo, Vinorama, and Los Barriles. Please see our "Save the Date" section for specific times and locations.

Surfing the Border is a vibrant and lively collection of essays that discusses the rebirth of Baja as a global foodie and tourism destination, the suburban life of a surf dad who loves to embark on Endless Summer-like adventures with his family, and WILDCOAST's work to conserve Baja's pristine ecosystems and wildlife.

"Baja is the wildest coastline left in the world," said Dedina. "It is critical to protect its beauty and biodiversity. Let's enjoy these unique places while we conserve them," he added.

Previous books by Dedina include Saving the Gray Whale and Wild Sea: Eco-Wars and Surf Stories from the Coast of the Californias.
