Over 750 students from the San Francisco Bay area participated in the  8th annual San Francisco Ocean Film Festival and education program. Festival goers learned about an array of conservation efforts around the world. But most importantly students and bay area residents learned about the unique binational challenges the San Diego-Tijuana Border region faces.

Festival attendees included the Director of National Marine Sanctuaries Dan Basta, BBC producer and world-renowned conservationist Sylvia Earle. WiLDCOAST would like to thank the San Francisco Ocean film Festival for selecting the film One River and sharing our universal ocean conservation message.
