WiLDCOAST and the City of Imperial Beach Invite You to Environmental Stewardship Week

WiLDCOAST and the City of Imperial Beach invite you to participate in the first City of Imperial Beach Environmental Stewardship week of May 7-14, 2011, as part of the City's Environmental Awareness month.

Volunteers are needed from 10-12pm Saturday May 7th, 2011 to stencil conservation messages on many of the City's storm drains. 

When: Saturday May 7th, 2011

Time: 10-12pm

Where: Meeting at WILDCOAST offices 925 Seacoast Dr., Imperial Beach 91932

What: Stencil messages on storm drains throughout tow n. Storm drains carry anything that falls into them to the ocean. In addition to storm water it can carry trash, toxics and feces which can pollute our beaches and ocean. It is important to remind people through these messages how important it is  to prevent storm water pollution.

Wear: Wear comfortable clothes and ride your bike or skateboard since we will be going around town to stencil these storm drains.
