AB 376 that would ban the possession, sale, trade and distribution of shark fin is coming up for vote again THIS WEEK. Contact your Assemblymember TODAY!

California is one of the largest markets for shark fins outside Asia.  AB 376 will ensure that California ceases to contribute to the supply and demand of shark fin through a ban on the possession, sale, trade and distribution of shark fins. This ban can help protect shark populations around the world.

Every year tens of millions of sharks are killed for their fins that are used for shark fin soup.  The depletion of sharks has cascading effects throughout the oceans’ ecosystems, because as predators, sharks help maintain the balance of marine life in our oceans.

Please TAKE ACTION TODAY by urging your Assembly member to support this important bill. It just takes one minute to tell your representative to support AB 376. Click here to send the message!
