On Friday May 20, 2011 busloads of high school students congregated at the Museum of el Trompo in Tijuana to celebrate conservation through music and dance.

Hundreds of youth between the ages of 15 to 18 learned through conferences and workshops about environmental conservation, while enjoying music and dance from young performing artists. Organized by Lemon Art, a Tijuana based organization  that works to promote art to youth through community events lead by four young Tijuana native entrepreneurs, the Lemon Fest proved to be a space where young students learned about the issues affecting the environment in both Tijuana and the Tijuana-San Diego border region.
