Friday October 7th from 9 am - Noon

In order to support the creation of a Management Plan for the Chula Vista Bayfront, WiLDCOAST is hosting a tour for interested public and South Bay Wildlife Advisory Group members.

The tour will formally take place from 9 am – Noon. We’ll be addressing natural resource management concerns along the San Diego Bayfront. This van tour will include five bayside locations interpreted by local experts.  All South Bay Wildlife Advisory Group members, as well as the public, are invited and encouraged to attend the tour.

This tour will cover the following topics:

*What natural resources are currently present along the bayfront, their life history, and their status;

*What natural resources the regulatory and management agencies are actively trying to restore and  enhance;

*What are the pressing management concerns related to these natural resources?
Friday, October 7th: 9 am – Noon. Participants should meet at the Parking Lot at E St. near the entrance to the Sweetwater Marsh/Chula Vista Nature Center. From there we will be traveling via vans to five sites in the southern portion of the San Diego Bay.

Directions – From I-5 take the E Street exit. The Chula Vista Nature Center parking lot is located at the western terminus of E Street.
