Mangroves Losing to Climate Change

If Climate Change is not slowed the mangroves of the Pacific will be lost
The expansive mangrove forests of Laguna San Ignacio could also be challenged by the effects of climate change.
According to this article by the Worldwatch Institute, if something is not done about climate change soon the mangrove forests of the Pacific will be forever lost. One ecosystem service provided by mangroves that the article does not mention is their ability to store tremendous amounts of carbon.
