WiLDCOAST Returns from the Wild

WiLDCOAST's Wildlands Conservation Team explores the Valle de los Cirios Pacific Coast
WiLDCOAST's Wildlands Conservation Team recently returned from field work on the Valle de los Cirios Pacific Coast in central Baja California. WiLDCOAST has protected 19.4 miles of undisturbed coastal ecosystems in the region through direct land purchases and conservation easement agreements. The protected area contains four wetlands and seven prominent headlands and bays. The team was joined by Surfer's for Cetaceans representative, Chris del Moro, who is a fanatic of the area. WiLDCOAST is focusing on an additional 12.5 miles for protection in 2011.
