WiLDCOAST conservation team invites you to learn more about the newly established Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in San Diego.

What are Marine Protected Areas (MPAs)? Where are they located? Why do we have them? How can we use them? Learn all you need to know about California’s new underwater parks that went into effect on January 1st, 2012.

Special guest speaker Dr. Octavio Aburto from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography will discuss “Cabo Pulmo: Marine Protected Area Success Story.”
