Ocean water contact should be avoided following significant any significant rainfall event.

Over half an inch of rain has fallen over the south San Diego area in the last 24 hrs. Ocean users are advised to avoid beach water contact for up to 72 hrs after rain has subsided.

The Southern California Ocean Observancy System indicates potential impacts to Imperial Beach and Border Field State Park beaches from Tijuana River flow.
