Join Us this Weekend for a Community Cleanup!

Come join WiLDCOAST and partners for a day of service and fun

Martin Luther King Jr. continues to inspire millions with the famous words proclaimed on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963. It was a call to action to unite to achieve a common dream. On January 22nd, we will honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s commitment to service in America by calling volunteers to action to work towards a local dream: a restored Otay River Valley.

In partnership with REI, the San Diego Foundation, River Partners, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, we will be helping with the first stages of a restoration project by removing trash and debris from the mouth of the Otay River. REI will also be offering outdoor activities for those who attend. Come to lend a hand at this free event to help our coastal environment for the benefit of the community and wildlife. We will have water, light snacks, and raffle prizes for participants.
