Dorismar Campaign in Acapulco

This week WiLDCOAST's campaign featuring model Dorismar toured Acapulco, a paradise located in the southern coast of Mexico, where poaching and consumption of sea turtle eggs continue to be major problems. The campaign was a huge success, despite opposition from the government.

Friday morning we appeared in radio and TV programs in Guerrero, which broadcast at a state level through different TV channels and radio stations. During the interviews, we encouraged the audience to denounce the illegal sea turtle trade.

Later, in a press conference with more than 20 local media attendees, Dorismar and the Wildcoast Team discussed the campaign, sending our message to Guerrero’s public.

We had two more interviews in radio with MVS and Sin Fronteras, through which we reminded the audience to not consume sea turtle eggs and meat, and we made a clear statement of the fact that sea turtles are worth more alive than dead.
