With WiLDCOAST's Volunteer program, you can: Be a Turtle for a Day! Meet Fellow Conservationsts! Put your artistic skills to good use!

Our success depends on individuals like you stepping up to volunteer. Please join us and find out how you can do your part in preserving our Wild Coast!

Open volunteer positions include: writing newsletter articles, editing video, helping at beach cleanups, staffing an informational booth and assisting with mailings.

To apply for any of these positions, download our volunteer application. If you are under the age of 18, please download a parent/guardian waiver and bring it signed with you the day of volunteering. Or attend one of our quarterly trainings. Email volunteers@wildcoast.net for more details and training a schedule.

Internship Program

img_volunteer_group.jpgWiLDCOAST’s internship program offers a great opportunity for students to gain college credit, learn new skills and help us conserve our environment. The program runs quarterly, with openings in the winter, spring, summer and fall.

Ecotourism Intern: Travel to Baja then assist with the development of ecotourism projects that will complement conservation programs in the Baja California peninsula. Download Full Description

Communications Intern: Be a part of our exciting environmental conservation programs while learning how to interact with the international press and celebrities. WiLDCOAST's cutting-edge campaigns were featured in newspapers around the world in 2005 and feature Grammy award winning bands and international models. Download Full Description

Wildlife Conservation Education Intern: - Spring only Conserving the environment starts with education, and you can play an integral part. Interns educate San Diego's youth about preserving endangered sea turtles, migratory birds and other wildlife, by teaching WiLDCOAST's Wildlife Education Curriculum, which includes games, coloring, puppet shoes and other fun activities. Web Designer Intern: Gain experience designing and developing websites to promote conservation programs such as ecotourism in the Baja California peninsula. Download Full Description

Video Intern: Be a part of WiLDCOAST's latest campaign to defeat pollution at the US-Mexico border by documenting contamination sources and creating short informational films. The films will play an integral part in our campaign to ensure that our beaches and ocean are clean for future generations. Download Full Description
