A Sheltered Sea- The Southern Passage

WiLDCOAST along with other organizations, fishermen, divers and surfers worked together with The Baum Foundation and Coyote Films to create: A Sheltered Sea—The Southern Passage.

The film is about the Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA) Initiative along the California coast.

The Southern Passage features the collective benefits and challenges of creating a network of underwater parks, or Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), that protect and sustain marine ecosystems and shows how MPAs can positively effect all people, from environmental groups to the fishing industry alike.

Plastic Bags and the Pacific Ocean

This is a short movie made by Ray Haller in 1952. He and his friends made a trek down from California to Baja California to fish, hunt and explore this region.
