Otay River Valley Ice Plant Removal - Habitat Restoration

December 03, 2011

Join us for a morning of ice plant removal and habitat restoration in the Otay Valley Regional Park. We've already covered the ice plant with black cloth in hopes that it will die. On Dec. 3rd we'll be ripping this invasive plant specie out of the Otay River Valley and need your help! We'll provide the gloves and refreshments, you bing the peoplepower! This area will be replanted with native plant species in order to support the recovery of the Otay River Valley ecosystem. Girl Scout Troop 5912 have already confirmed!
