The newest addition to our team, Lenise Andrade joins WiLDCOAST as the Director of Development. She builds and manages relationships with our individual and corporate donors and oversees our fundraising plans which include special events and appeals.
Specializing in working with conservation organizations, Lenise brings 9 years of fundraising experience over to WiLDCOAST with her. For a little over two years, she worked for Heal the Bay before moving to San Diego in 2007 to join the fundraising team at the San Diego Zoo where she focused on working with individual major donors. She is a former board member of and active in the local chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN San Diego) and is also a founding member of Women Give San Diego.
Lenise has a degree in English from the University of Southern California and spent several years as a teacher before entering the nonprofit sector. She completed her Certificate in Fundraising from the UCSD Extension program in 2010.
